Middle East Seniors

Terms of Use for the Middle East Seniors Directory

Plain conditions for reading our listings, suggesting a club and relying on the details we publish.

Middle East Seniors is a community directory and social club guide for older adults in South Africa. We collect and publish information about walking groups, hobby circles, book exchanges, craft mornings, gardening collectives, board game afternoons and volunteer networks. We do not run these groups, and we do not organise their meetings. This page sets out what you can expect from us, and what we ask of you in return.

What this directory is

A guide to community groups and social clubs. Each entry may include venue access, transport notes and a contact phone number so you can decide whether a group suits you before you travel.

Details can change

Times, venues and group arrangements shift, and listings are updated as we hear about changes. Please confirm with the club contact before attending, especially for a first visit.

No accounts, bookings or payments

The site does not create accounts, take bookings, process payments or send automatic replies. We simply point you toward real-world groups and a straightforward contact route.

Suggestions and write-ups

Clubs you suggest and short write-ups you share are passed on in good faith. We may edit them for length or clarity, and we cannot promise that a listed group will accept new members.

Limits of our responsibility

We do not supervise the groups we list and cannot be held responsible for what happens at a meeting. You attend at your own discretion and on the terms set by each group.

Changes to these terms

We may update this page as the directory develops. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms. For legal questions, write to contact@middleeastseniors.com.
